Shri Biranchi Narayan Mohanty

Born on 18.06.1968 in village Sahapur under Mahanga Block in the District of Cuttack. Father is a retired Principal. Mother is a housewife. Completed graduation in Arts in the year 1988 from Rairangpur College, in the District of Mayurbhanj. Then got admitted in LL.B. Course at Madhusudan Law College Cuttack and completed the course in the year 1991. Enrolled as an Advocate under Odisha State Bar Counsel w.e.f. 07.12.1991. Then joined in the Chamber of Senior Advocate Shri Yeeshan Kumar Mohanty and assisted him in various Cases both Civil and Criminal nature, not only in the Trail Courts but also in the High Court of Orissa, Cuttack. In the year 2004 started independent practice. After 17 years of practice, recruited as a District Judge directly from the Bar in the year 2008 and joined in Service on 08.12.2008.
